Extend & blend CRM applications
Minimize customization & speed up implementation.

Corizon Platform allows CRM screens to be extended with re-usable UI components that support integrated user processes

More and more organizations are turning to packaged CRM applications to power key customer processes and functions. But to be really useful, these applications must not only deliver in their own functional sphere; they must also integrate into the wider processes of the business.

Achieving this can bring complex integration challenges:
  • How to support the flow of processes across different systems.
  • How to support users whose tasks span multiple systems (for example the agent who must move between CRM, billing and stock management systems within a single customer call).
  • How to achieve successful early deployment to new groups of users, co-existing with legacy applications while data and functionality are migrated to the new application.
These challenges are only partially eased by standards-based integration adapters and pre-packaged business processes. While these techniques simplify sharing and moving data between systems, when it comes to the experience of the end user, they don’t help. The only option at the moment is slow expensive customization of packaged application UI to create new screens to reflect the UI of the systems to be integrated. This form of hard coding creates project delays, upgrade nightmares and multiplies maintenance costs.

Mashups – extending enterprise application UI

At Corizon we provide an alternative that addresses these issues: use a mashup to extend the enterprise application user interface. Now deployments can:
  • Extend and blend user interface support for user tasks that require functionality from external applications.
  • Rapidly assimilate existing applications into new rollouts without heavy integration and development efforts. Subsequent phases can then retire and rationalise applications without disrupting users.
  • Minimise customisation and upgrade problems because the extensions are now implemented outside the application.
Without Corizon With Corizon
  • Customise CRM UI to encompass integrated processes – waste time rebuilding UI in new contexts.
  • Wait for all integrated functionality needed by users to be exposed as services or APIs, delaying initial roll outs
  • Suffer long waits to make UI changes via central work stack.
  • Expensive and slow reworking of customizations as source applications retired or changed.
  • High cost of reworking customizations during upgrades.
  • Build UI components as re-usable services outside enterprise application
  • Easily define re-usable components from existing applications for maximum speed of deployment.
  • Compose UI to support complex cross application user tasks with minimal application change.
  • Respond to local user needs without impacting on core application workstack.
  • Swap UI components as applications retire with minimal impact.
  • Configuration outside applications minimizes upgrade costs.
