Corizon forms major strategic partnership with Siemens Information Systems Ltd
Deal struck to address global demand for flexibility of SOA at the user interface
London, UK, 16th April 2007: Software Company Corizon today announced a major strategic partnership with the world´s leading systems integrator and total solutions provider, Siemens Information Systems Ltd. (SISL). The partnership makes it possible for customers of all sizes to quickly improve efficiency by reducing the number of IT applications their workers use to do their jobs. The announcement is the third significant alliance Corizon has established in the last twelve months, following a technology partnership with Attachmate and a sales partnership with Sabio.
SISL will resell, implement and support Corizon´s technology to new and existing customers worldwide, including those in the US and Asia-Pacific. Corizon´s software gives organisations unified, streamlined access to multiple systems by "mashing up" relevant pieces of user interface. The end result is a simplified application optimised for specific roles and business processes.
As SISL´s Strategic Alliances partner, Corizon will supply technology and expertise to SISL, providing its consultants with the skills required to implement and support Corizon´s technology.
Rothin Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President Siemens Information Systems, comments:
"We are working with leading Communication Service Providers in their transformation programs, in the area of Business Process Management with a focus on enabling a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Corizon´s technology delivers on the promise of the SOA technology vision where it counts by bringing re-use and orchestration to the user interface. This technology is uniquely capable of filling a key requirement for many of our customers: that of providing optimised desktops to end-users without complex custom development."
Eric Guilloteau, CEO, Corizon, commented:
"This is a significant announcement for us and a further endorsement that organisations worldwide are recognising the need to rapidly and flexibly assemble highly functional user interfaces without complex development. SISL shares our vision for maximising the potential of IT resource by extending SOA to the UI level. With this relationship, we are able to support customer deployments across the globe with a level of quality and professional support associated with one of the world's leading IT services companies."
